FRAGRANCE CONCENTRATIONS It is important for you as a consumer to know what concentration your fragrance is.  This tells you how strong and tenatious it will be.  It will also indicate a higher price according to the concentration of the fragrance.  I personally like Perfume and prepare most of my fragrances to Perfumes with concentrations of 20% to 25% Natural Oils, supported with either Ethanol or Natural Carrier Oil.  I love the long lingering dry down.  I love it lingering with me for hours and hours. Eau do Parfum is a 15% -19% blend.  It can be considered a softer or lighter Perfume. Eau de Toilette is a concentration of 5% - 14%.  We often see Eau de Toilette in essences for day time as it is not so strong and / or it can be used more liberally.   Eau de Cologne  is 2% - 4%  and Eau Fraiche is blended at 1% - 3%.  These concentrations were used on men's aftershave lotion when a man would splash the blend on his face after shaving.  These blends are light and easy to simply splash or spray on.  They are concentrations used where only a bit of scent is wished for.  We may use these light concentrations in the heat of summer since aromas disperse more readily on long hot days of summer.

The best places on your body to place scented oils are the pulse points where the skin is a wee bit warmer.  Annoint your neck behind your ears as well as the inside of your wrists.  You may also like a dab inside the elbows or behind your knees.   You may also want to include the top arch of your feet.  Who doesn't want fragrant feet?   When you place your oil on your body, do not rub it in.  A gentle dab is the best. Scented oils are made to create mood & enhance pleasure for yourself and those close to you.  Dab a bit on yourself and Enjoy!!🌲🌳🌿🌹
