Natural oils are extremely complex with many notes in one oil.  Where it begins will not be where it is as the dry down stage.  In making perfumes, many oils are used to create a unique and specialized fragrance.  Many oils working together will create a beautiful thing.  As the oils sit on one's skin, they slowly begin to dry down.  They shed one layer for the next, and with many layers of oils drying down together, it seems alive and changing from hour to hour.

How different it is for synthetics.  The smell is the smell.  It may fade, however it never devolves or changes as a natural.  Synthetics are  static.  They start the same way they end.  Synthetic chemicals hold their scent the same way from the beginning to the dry down.  They are like putting together a puzzle.  Each piece fits together as it should and as expected. Synthetics are predictible.

Natural oils are an adventure!!!

Making a natural perfume is like painting a beautiful picture.  The artist begins with an oil and tests it as to how it will sit from the beginning to the dry-down with the next natural oil.  Every batch of oil has it's own characteristics.  Every final blend is a work of art.  It is alive and evolving.

Naturals are not loud and abrasive like so many synthetics.  They are always evolving unlike their synthetic cousins.  A well made natural perfume can last for hours and hours, often pleasing the one wearing it more and more as it dries down.

Naturals are never rude, unlike a synthetic trying to take over a room.... trying to get all the attention.  Naturals are polite, simmering on the skin of the one who placed it there.  Naturals dance with your chemistry to create a scent quite unique to you.

The scent of naturals are made for you and for those who are invited to come close to you.  This is the secret loved by those who wear natural perfumes.

Enjoy!!
